March 9 – Candle Fund Raiser - Candle Letter
Students will be given the opportunity on March 9 to sell candles before spring break to help earn their way to band camp. If your child is even thinking about going, they can sell wonderful smelling candles at a 50% profit. I will set up a spreadsheet for the students and 100% of their sales will go into their band camp “account”. After the student registers, I will send a check for the amount they earned directly to the camp to help defray the cost to you.
March 9 – Night of Percussion
The percussion students of CSISD will be coming together for a concert on Tuesday night at 6:30. The concert will be in the AMCHS Auditorium and all students are invited to attend. If your child attends the concert they can receive extra credit for going. They need to bring me a program from the evening and I will change their lowest grade to a 100.
March 11 – Pre UIL Concert
Parents, relatives and friends are invited to hear the AMCMS Concert and Symphonic Bands perform their UIL selections on Thursday night in the AMCHS Auditorium. Students need to be in their seats ready to warm up at 6:15 and the concert will begin at 7:00. Concert Band students will meet on the stage to warm up and the Symphonic Band students will meet in the orchestra room to warm up.
